POLAR BEAR PLUNGE WEEKEND FEBRUARY 4-5, 2012

Looking for something fun
and invigorating to do mid-winter? Ready to get out of the house and get
together with a few neighbors (like 2,000), all for a good cause? The Lewes
Polar Bear Plunge might be just the thing! There is so much going on with the
Plunge event, it takes two days to fit it all in—activities such as the Polar
Bear Cake-Off, an Ice Sculpting Demonstration, a 5K Walk/Run to the Plunge, a
Chili Cook-Off, kids’ crafts, rides on the Jolly Trolley and, on Sunday, the 21st Annual Lewes
Polar Bear Plunge, followed by the Apres Plunge Party at the Rehoboth
Convention Center! All proceeds from the
weekend benefit Special Olympics Delaware.
