22nd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival!

Calling All Chocolate Lovers...

The 22nd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival will be enjoyed this Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 11:30-3:30 at the Rehoboth Convention Center. Entry costs a low $2, and includes one taste. Tickets for additional tastes may be purchased for $.50 each. Amazing chocolate concoctions prepared by amateurs and professionals alike will be presented for judging and tasting. If you would like to enter your best chocolate creation to be judged (no charge!), go to http://www.downtownrehoboth.com/ for rules and entry forms, and deliver your masterpiece to the convention center between 7:00 and 8:30am Saturday.

In addition to incredible treats for your taste buds, there will be raffle prizes, games for children and, of course, ice-cold milk.

Proceeds from the Chocolate Festival benefit Rehoboth Main St., Inc., and Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Library. Bon Apetit!

100% of 2011 Goal Reached!

The Debbie Reed Team reached 100% of its 2011 goal in contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure through RE/MAX's Home for the Cure program. A portion of each commission earned by The Debbie Reed Team is donated to Susan G. Komen to help with its goal to fight breast cancer, support breast cancer patients and their families, and educate the public regarding prevention and research advances.

Bear Cake-Off, an Ice Sculpting Demonstration, a 5K Walk/Run to the Plunge, a
Chili Cook-Off, kids’ crafts, rides on the Jolly Trolley and, on Sunday, the 21st Annual Lewes
Polar Bear Plunge, followed by the Apres Plunge Party at the Rehoboth

Rehoboth Beach's Annual Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting

Rehoboth Beach's Annual Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-a-Long continues a long tradition at the Bandstand this Friday, November 25, from 6-7pm. Singer/Songwriter Doug James and Mrs. Claus will lead those assembled in the festive singing of holiday songs. Please bring your copy of the holiday songbook, available in Friday's Cape Gazette. Then, at 7:00pm, the Countdown begins for the ceremonial Lighting of the Tree. Santa will be in his cottage on the Boardwalk, ready to listen to the holiday wishes of girls and boys. Hot chocolate will be served by the Special Olympics polar bear and the Plunge committee, and Browseabout Books will hand out blinking noses. Does it get any more festive than that??
